Samuel L

Samuel L. Jackson swaps swagger for rags to play homeless "Champ".
Hidden under a pile of ratty dreadlocks and the dilapidated posture of a man slowly broken down by life, Samuel L. Jackson is all but unrecognizable in ""Resurrecting the Champ."" Playing a former boxer forced to live out on the streets, the actor gives the kind of soul-deep performance that might come as a surprise to fans who know him primarily for his swaggering turns in ""Pulp Fiction,"" ""Shaft"" and ""Snakes on a Plane."" ""This is one of the few times that I had an opportunity to hide myself,"" says Jackson. ""You can"t recognize me until you look very closely. When I looked in the mirror, the only thing I saw of me were the eyes."" .
